I'm not sure my question is clear, so i'll explain here: This question has been bugging me for some time now. I plan to pursue a part time career in parallel with my full time job. So i have designed a website, and as almost everyone, i will include advertisements, affiliate products, maybe even sell some software. So, how do i get taxed? if i live outside USA, but my website is hosted in USA, when i get a check and go to the bank, how is the bank going to deal with this check? In other words, If you create a normal business let us say in UK, you need to register your company and do all the legal procedures, but if you are creating an online business, what are the legal requirements? Thank you for your help
you do not need to create company, you can do busienss in personal name, but all income you must report in your tax return
You may ask an accountant @ your country for further information if you don't plan to work internationally...
US resident? you pay tax on your world wide income .. does not matter where you earn it. it is a DBA.. go to local county .. get a DBA cert.. $15 here in Dallas.. you are all set
