    I agree, I think the best way to get backlinks is through good content. I don't think Google would approve of any artificial methods as this actually create problems to their search engines.

    create good content that gets link bait and gives you backlink is the best way to do it. google dosenot asks you to build backlinks, so there is no technology approved by google.

    get some blog reviews and posts with a link back to your website, that's the only thing, which is still good with google!

    Content and backlink are king! So you need to acquire good backlinks and create good content for your site. So Google will be index your site.
