Because what they say invariably makes no sense at all and we are all expected to just accept it anyway. Essentially what you are doing is no different to what primitives done when they pondered the sun rise, realised they didn't understand it and concluded that a magic man is doing it. The only difference is you prefix your illogical leap and conclusion with something that resembles something mildy scientific, such as a bar room understanding of the laws of thermodynamics.

You are invoking the god of the gaps. It's a logical fallacy.

So basically you don't believe in god because ancient people who could not understand the scientific phenomenons and termed it as god. You won't like me much because i am a believer but i don't place god just to fill scientific gaps. For me there is no thing called MAGIC. The term is flawed. When something miraculous happens, it is termed as magic. But everything is logical, be it god or anything. :)

At least ancient people were somehow justified in their belief because they didn't know much.

ancient people believed in gods because they couldn't explain many of the natural phenomena. Now we can but people still believe in gods... just because.

And so another P&R thread went from something simple accepted by both priests and scientist to something that lacks any civility or logic . It's so .... predictable .

In what way was the original question simple?
And exactly where did you find a scientist saying energy originated from god?

    *facepalm*

There is a simple explanation for the bleeping origin of energy and matter : expanding singularity aka the Big bleeping Bang . As simple as it gets . If you want to understand 100% how a expanding singularity functions then good luck . The event horizon is where science tuns to butter and no laws apply .
Is high-school science so hard to swallow ?

As far as I know it's called "The Big Bang Theory" for a reason, so I don't really know where you are going with this.
And you have still not answered my second question.

The origin of energy is less about its beginning than its substance and whether ones own Spirit has the same substance and is sustained the same as eternal energy from its origin.

As Columbus crossed the ocean and found land on the other side, so also for those who aspire and who's Spirit traverses the void will reach the Outerworld of the Everlasting and from there proceed as was their destiny at birth.

Oh so according to you the Big Bang is something that may have happened . Nice way to back up your atheism and argue semantics . The big bang is proven theory and I said "accepted by" . I don't any statement with the words "Scientist say that God created the Big Bang" .

Seeing you posts i'm tempted to think you're atheism is just an excuse to evade the rules imposed by Christianity .

Breeze i know you like to try and sound like yoda in your posts, but you do realise that it amounts to meaningless noise right? Try saying something understandable instead of trying to appear deep and mysterious.

    1. Atheism does not equal belief in the big bang theory.
    2. I believe that the big bang theory has some truth in it, but it's not the ultimate answer.
    3. Saying that scientists and priests have the same answer to the origin of energy is a lie.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Gen 1:1)
Remember, this is the verry same god that created light before he created a light source, doh...

The big bang was a nuclear reaction. You say the sun makes fusion but energy was first found in Gamma Rays from the sun and the planets were shaped into galaxy's.

Energy can be found in E = mc^2

Your using energy to peddle, thus transferring it.

It's worth pointing out that energy can, and does, come from nothing all the time in what is known as quantum flutuation. What is found when a vacuum is created is that particles, and the equivalent anti-particle, spontaneously appear out of nothing before annihilating each other.

Think about it. If a particle with the energy value of -1 is created, then you can also create a particle with the energy value of +1 without using or needing any other energy and without actually violating any physical laws (-1 + +1 = 0)

Three problems with your view . It requires the presence of time and space , it is them temporary manifestation of energy and our universe recorded 13 protons for every 12 anti-protons (or 14 for 13 I don't recall it exactly) .

Whoever your childhood mystery Yoda is - who cares?

Just what in the simple post could you not understand?

It just has no content. You're not a mystical sage, just speak like a normal human being.
