Hi All I have a small query about the Contact Us page and About Us page. As per the Google Webmaster tool instructions Our web page importance is depending upon the internal linking and External Linkings. Basically we will link our mos important pages in header or footer and this will appear in all the web pages. That means we are sharing our Home page link juice to that links directly. Similarly We are linking the About us page or contact Us page in Header or Footer of the Body tag. My Question is 1) Will Google give the same value to this pages as same as our main business pages? (links, PR and SERP values) 2) Will internal linking give more important to that pages ? if Yes means Could we use No Follow for these Links? 3) What is the Need of the Contact Us Page ? the need of that page is to give visitors ways of contacting you - or to mention your physical address once again if you aim to rank in Google maps, but after all its a page on your site like any other one so same rules will apply.
It's just a linking.About us page is for giving informtion about them.The need of Contuct Us page is to contuct with them for any complain or information or greetings for somethin that you choose.

Contact us pages are very important, it adds an openness to your site i.e. 'we are happy to receive your comments and thoughts'. Also a contact us form is a lead generation tool, if you are in the business of selling products or services, a contact us form is invaluable.
there is no harm in having contact us page,this will help u in a way that google crawler will consider it as a more professional site
1.you can use nofollow if you like not to loose Juice. 2. The actual page are what makes your site looks real to google and not just some link farm that is why they want people to have these pages.
I agree with elchenuk. The contact us or about us section is an important part of your website. It adds a degree of legitimacy to your site by providing an avenue for communication if needed. It says to site visitors that you are a real person or company that stands behind the information or services you provide.
