Hello people, I wanted to ask the experts here what's behind the 'Tags' method? Every new post i make goes under a category, is this not enough? Thank you! Pete
Tags are often used as meta keywords, which helps with search engines (especially if you are using the All in One SEO plugin, which you should). They are also useful for helping to organise your articles Mostly though I find them a great way of getting in extra keywords. And they do bring in a surprising amount of traffic. For example I run a rugby blog and forum and I use players names as tags - and I often have search engines plonk visitors down on the tag's feed for a specific player if I havent created an optimised article for that name. My main concentration is using them as a way of getting important keywords in if they arent already categories

When you open up your wordpress dashboard click on plugins > Add New > Popular - All in One is usually in the top 5, and imo is a must have for helping with SEO
wow... this brought me to an amazing realization.... no plug ins will ever be accessible on my current setup. I think i need to look in to WordPress.org and maybe migrate my account there... hmmmm.
Done! i bought my domain and moved to Wordpress.org, now i will follow your advice and install the 'All in One SEO plugin' Thanks for your advice man!
