Is it different from one, two, three and four keyword phrases?

And if my website google ranking falls,, all I have to do is make more backlinks???

If mywebsite doesn't have meta code, does it matter?

Keyword density ideal is 3-5% for 1 keyword phrase.
If your website ranking fall, please check this:
    -. Reduce the outbound link.
-. Make sure outbound link < inbound link (this is very important)
-. You need to make meta code for keyword and description. (several search engine need this)

    I hope this help

As above, but in more general terms, use a keyword 2-3 times on a short page, 4-6 times on a long page.

Keyword density is an old story of 2009. In 2010, Google doesn't pay much importance to 3-5% or 4-8% keyword density. It only sees whether the content is in natural tone and flow... Try to concentrate on quality content and using keywords fewer times (may be 2-4 times in 300)

Yet, for Bing, I do prefer a keyword density of 3% to be used making all things look natural.

    Hope this helps.
