What is the ideal file size for a web page?

Accroding to search engines, what is the ideal file size which we need to use for our pages? In my knowledge base it is 15KB or less?

 

Some say around 200k is good but it depends on the http request

I think page size itself might not be a big problem these days. Don't using to much images and flashes would be OK enough. This other essential issue would be optimizing the SQL queries since most of sites are DB-driven these days.

Just use what file size that you want....google don't look at file size of your website.....but for large file size...make sure you use fast server...

 

There's no limit..
But a faster pageload speed matters. So, keep it as low as possible.

 

According to me ideal size for SEO perspective is 100K. Try to reduce loading page because it plays a important role in SEO.

 

html: 10K, as small as possible
everything < 30K, max 50K
page < 3 folds (max 5 folds) on 1024x768

 

seem around 200kb /page
