What is the Google site aging period?

How long should I expect for it to take my site and links to be fully spidered and linked.
MSN is starting to pick me up,
Yahoo is barely but some links are registering.
Googlebot is actively visiting daily(I think) but it is not registering links.
    Neither is Alexa.

    Does anyone have info?

If you haven't made a Google Sitemap, you should look into that. It will help in getting your site crawled by Google since it tells Google what pages you have.

As for time to get into the search engine, I have had sites show up fairly quickly.

    Hi cprntr,
Well, as far as google's ageing time for websites. Its in between 6 months to 1yr. Also, google doesn't put any site into sandbox due to age factor.
If you are having some very good quality links like from government organizations etc. then your site will start well from the begining.
and for back links, you hjave to wait for some time.

    !!! Enjoy !!!

I just launched a new site March 23rd. I submitted a site-map to google, and now I wait. Site is not even showing up in google yet. Although, from links from other sites, I already have approx 500-1000 uniques a day.

So, I am definately checking daily to see how fast I can get indexed. I'm kinda going for broke and chasing some of the most popular keywords. Ahh, the excitement of it all.

5 days, no google index yet.

yes im interested in good gov links also,

as for aging im still waiting for a site of mine to be indexed by google its nearly a yr old , still hasn't been mid you using very compet key terms alledgedly this extends the snad sandbox or aging delay.

I think if your site is SE friendly, it should get fully spidered within 1 month after getting your pagerank. I have read somewhere amongst these threads that Google was using pagerank as a way to determine which sites should get how well and how often.
