There is no "going rate" as far as I'm concerned. People and businesses charge what they think their time is worth. With my company, we don't work with fixed prices. I have found it's much better to understand each project carefully before quoting a price. Evert job is different in some way, and should be thoroughly understood before talking about money and turnaround time.

Therefore, first explain exactly what you need, either here or through email. Then you will receive some accurate prices.

If you want to ask for specific people's prices, do not ask here please. All advertising belongs in the BST area (content creation in your case).

In a general sense, there is no "going rate." You'll find people here who write for $1.00 per word and those who write for less than a penny per word. Your best bet is not to look at what people are advertising, but instead look for people who hired similar writers in the past and ask them for feedback and referrals. Most of the better writers here don't advertise publicly on the board anyway. To find them, poke around this section and review their posts. If you like the way someone writes, see if they have a professional site in their signature where you can read client testimonials and review portfolio samples.
