Nop, php/sql etc will be used in the net. But most applications, special offilne ones, will use java. Basically java it´s the future, or lets say, object oriented languages like java are the future. I dont imagine java vanishing.. in special for PHP
Java it´s the same principle as C# or C++,java script etc the only difference are languages syntaxes. It´s an object oriented language. You just need to understand the principle itself, the rest is just knowing the syntax and consulting documentation. So it´s more or less like C++/c# etc. (c++ has a lot different syntax but the principle is the same) Like i said, i dont think JAVA will disappear... it wont just be used to do simple web tasks which require simpler languages (PHP for databases for example)
We constrained by thoughts and limit ourselves what we do today and hence we are unable to see the future of any programming language.
You hate coz u don knw it. How can u say tht its ugly? (plz explain me) its d greatest platform available today. Ryt now also, Java is being used widely on internet. But most of them are not for general public so you want encounter that much sites while surfing over net. most of the sites developed using j2ee are enterprise solutions developed for business organizations and are not open for general public. Theres no comparison between java n php, as php is just a scripting language, while java is an entire platform. Theres only one platform available today which can be compared wid java n its .Net, but again when it comes to secure, robust, and enterprise level application theres no answer of java. I can mention hundreds of things tht cnt be done wid php. Just one example is, how will you implement distributed transactions in php? I hope u knw, wht distributed transactions means :-0) Java is not for small applications. if the requirement is to generate dynamic content only, thn I will suggest php. Some guyz think tht JSP,Servlet is the only thing in J2EE (LOL), its nt. J2EE comes wid more thn 13 technologies. I have seen php developers struggling wid database code (LOL). different code to connect to different databases (Pear is also cnt be compared wid mature JDBC). Java is the present n it will b d future.
I totally agree. Just one thing, the future, i think, is related with JSpecs, i dont know the exact name/term or even how to explain it, but basically instead of being an vertical hierarchy is´t an horizontal one.
Yes. Yes I am. The only good thing java did for this world was runescape. But I'm only 13, so my mind is limited like that.
Why in future? Ryt now also java is one of d most widely used platform for developing enterprise solutions.
