I just bought a box of non-fat dry milk, it's stamped "Best When Used by 2DEC15" In addition, dried grains, dried beans, and dry pasta can probably last years and years, - though, I would make sure they're all in airtight containers.

heheheheh....i would store a dry grain like rice or wheat, then a salted food for additional like salted fish.
It would be Honey.. Honey is the only food that does not spoil. Honey found in the tombs of Egyptian pharaohs has been tasted by archaeologists and found edible.
I recall a 3500 year old mass of butter that archaeologists found in a bog in Ireland in the 60s which was edible, but tasteless because it had not been salted ...
think it is all kind of fiber food. Normally our liver can't take this so many time it still in our belly.
