What is the font I should use for my landing page?

I found that some fonts are working very effectively to on landing pages. I read a lot of pitch pages and I found that all the pitch pages are using the same fonts.

I am wondering what are the fonts there are using.

Anyone knows what are the fonts they used?

They are usually in ARIAL, VERDANA, TAHOMA or TIMES NEW ROMAN.

They are the most effective fonts for a landing page.

The one I use the most is arial.

    Hope this helps!

Verdana, Tahoma, Trebuchet are all good. Arial is ok but a bit "commonplace", perhaps?

Don't be too concerned about the "overall appearance" of the font on the page (be very concerned about the overall appearance of the page itself, though!), but be concerned about how easy it is to read. There are some beautiful-looking fonts around (seen "Book Antiqua"?!) but they slow people down reading them, which isn't ideal.

I use Verdana for most of my work. Georgia is really good if you want a more professional look. Trebuchet has a nice soft look. Arial is alright, I do not like Times New Roman for websites.

I like Georgia and Verdana for headlines and key points. I start in normal and always end in bold.
