fist one, baidu.com.yes , i am chinse, but i love google much more.baidu is a Rogue, although the seo is handsome.
I remember when The Internet was phone numbers. Each site had its own number. Dial-up was slower then 14.4k. Everything was in TEXT and no graphics. Then there was IP addresses, still no www yet. Around this time, everything was 99% TEXT and they didn't technically have photos, it was colored Text / Symbol patters. My first www website was CompuServe (oddly they are still around, but own by AOL)
Probably Yahoo. It was back in 1996 so I don't really remember. I do remember my roommate and I in college staying up until all hours of the night looking up "freebies" online. We were fascinated that we could find so many things for FREE online lol
It's Google. The best search engine. Besides Google, I will poll wikipedia, which offers me a lot of free and useful information.
Netscape Navigator's website in 1995. I was using Netscape Navigator version one, which used to crash a lot. I had a very slow modem and I was charged per minute while online. Most web pages were just black Times Roman text on a grey background, stretching from edge to edge of the browser, the full width of the screen, and any images were small and very compressed as they took ages to load otherwise. Google, YouTube, Facebook, etc were unheard of and I wasn't really sure what this Internet thing was all about, and I wasn't really very impressed either to be honest. Heck, I even remember seeing Windows version 1, back when Bill Gates was just another millionaire! Yes, I suppose I am a bit older than the average Internet user John.
