What is the first website you remember going to online? I remember signing on Netscape Navigator during the early 1990s for the first time and going to their homepage. This is back when you we charged by the minute for internet access and the fastest modem at the time was a 14.4 kbit/s dial up modem.
Hotmail was my first site, way back in 1999. Ss scula said, internet was charged per minute and the fastest modem speed then was 56kbps dialup modem.
I think it was the Netscape browser's home page too. Of course, it was equipped with a dial-up from the phone line as well.
Hmm it was probably yahoo.com thought I can't be sure. It happened a long time ago, back 98 I think...
The website of my provider -- who was than very basic. Afterwards all sites were pretty much just arcade sites
it was yahoo.com in 1996. I used dial-up 14,4 kbits connection. 14.4, can you believe it? Cell phones have faster connections today
It was Google(searching for information related to my study) and using the old IE and don't know about the version..... It was around millenium 2000.
