    Getting into Google quicker using the alexa toolbar is most probably not true. I think someone was pulling your leg or something.

    this was stated earlier, but every time i submit a new story linking to a new site to digg.com i get indexed within 24 hours. i have done this 3 times and it has worked every time

    Well, your focus should not be on the fastest way to get included by on more long-term results. Is it worth it to get indexed in 24h then to see your site to sit at rank 463 of the SERPs for the keyword you are targeting?
    I would recommend:
    1-Submit ur site as soon as possible, even from the time you are developping it
    2-Use Google & Yahoo sitemaps to ensure that all your pages are found
    3-Get links to your homepage AND other major pages
    4-Add regularly content especially during the first month of your site creation
    5-Make sure that your site is SEO-friendly
    This will help you get your site not only quickly included but ready to achieve good results from the beginning on search engines.

    Yea, I would agree in saying the best method to get included in the google search engine is to have a link on a website that is crawled often. Putting a link in your sig. on this site was a very good suggestion.

    you just do directory submission of your website on dmoz.org because its google directory.if you submit it can automatically goes to google database and it will be indexed.

    just get back-links from HIGH PR sites. Google will automatically crawls your sites too within 24 hrs!
