Squidoo can be used successfully to get highly targeted traffic to a website. The amount of traffic you get will depend on the popularity of your niche and the quality of your competition.
I agree that adwords is probably your best bet, or your could do a JV where you get a webmaster in the same niche to send his list to your site. Best Daniel

What I would recommend you to do is to find a powerful StumbleUpon user (meaning have reviewed a lot of sites and get a lot of reviews for his profile), pay him or make him give a thumbs up to your site. If your site is of average quality, you should be able to shoot up your traffic for the day to above 500 uniques.
the only way would be to pay or as mentioned above create a video and watermark it and upload it on youtube.u might get to 200 visitors in 3 days but it wont last...traffic is a time based thing if u want to get to 200 visitors everyday from the third day on i doubt u can do it..ull have to develop it slowly with good content,seo,social bookmarking,etc..
Or just pay stumbleupon for 500 hits in their own advertising scheme, and you don't run the risk of being banned. 9 times out of 10, doing things the legit way takes a lot less time, gets you the result you want without relying on chance and doesn't get you penalised
You can buy targeted traffic from any of the search engines. Try Adwords (Google) or Overture (Yahoo). Stumble traffic is cheap (5 cents/visitor) but not very targeted and users don't seem to stay long... but again, it is cheap... so you get what you pay for.
