    my blog(http://visitformoney.blogspot.com) got PR 2 this month after i started for 2 months :). YOu need to update the contents frequently and having listed ur site on good PR rank page will booss traffic...

    1) Make your site fully crawlable
    2) Also care about your site internal linking
    3) Create a sitemap
    4) Create a sitemap account with Google and submit your sitemap
    5) Get links from relevant sites.

    It doesn't make much difference whether your site is listed in 24 hours or 72 hours. Your focus should be on long term strategy. :)

    The fastest way is to put up your link on a highly important page. An important page to Google is one that has:

    1. High PR.
    2. Fresh content with regular updates.

    To supplement the above, submit sitemap to Google webmaster tools.

    if you create new blog, the faster way to index in google is by using igoogle trick.. the next day, ur blog is in google search list... ;)

    post to craigslist as its high pr and instant...

    it used to be that posting to groups.google.com worked but thats gone y the wayside as google found out :)

    Please consider google sitemap and put your url into your signature. A lot of spiders are crawling dp forum on hourly basis. You can get your site listed shortly.
