    Dear all DP Member,

I have some doubt about how to check the back link for website? I know there are loads of seo tools are available but I am not satisfied with these tools because the result was not same even for single website. I have also tried in google but it doesn't work may be it caused by my searching way like… link: domain without http, etc. So please anyone can tell me “how to check back link “ in google, yahoo and msn.

Yahoo's siteexplorer is best for checking backlinks of any website. You can have detailed info from it.Or you can have add-ons from mozilla that will also help you to check backlinks.

Can use the firefox addon to do this (SEOQuake), or some free services, such as http://computers-all.comze.com/

In the Yahoo or Google Search bar, use the following command to check the backlinks:

    linkdomain:www(dot)yoursite(dot)com

Well Yahoo site explorer is good to check back links, but the question is did google consider all of those back links or not, if you want to check your own site back links i think google web master tools is the best option. You will easily find which are the back links google is giving value.

whats the difference between link:sitename.com and links:sitename.com
(Note the 's' in links in second option)
    Both give different results.
