What is the etiquette of requesting positive reputation?

Also I gave ahkip a red rep for his reply to my post. I thought it was rather rude after I posted a very helpful post. I ain't afraid to red rep people..I certainly ain't afraid of getting red rep either. People here know who I am. Odd that at NP I get green rep constantly but here people only like to red rep others. We have some nasty members here and very few nice ones. That's why there is a red rep penalty now for giving red rep. I just wish Shawn would do away totally with the rep system here. It's been tainted. We have trader rating anyways for actual trade reputations.

Anyways...those will balls will give me red rep and take the hit and those who agree please please please please please give me green rep.

The post you made, you think was helpful, not everyone does.

I post a lot, I never ask for green, people rep me if they wish.
I never had to ask for rep, neither as reminder nor as beg.
The best way to get rep is keep posting minus crap, dont be bother about rep.
