    PR gets a little confusing. Just find the good sites and pay for the advertising.

    I got a pr6 backlink from one of my ezine articles I submitted.
    another pr6 from digg
    PR 7 from a press release submitted

    Also buy backlinks.

    Go check out a pr5 site and do a backlink report on it to see 'some' of the formula.

    I would say there's no easy way. Other than getting PR6 backlinks, you should also consider whether the links are highly related to your niche. Competitors would not place your url in their site so your best bet should go for article directories and creating squidoo pages.

    use this PR formula :

    PR = (1-d)+ d( pr( other site)/ (total backlinks it has ) + ............. )



    HERE d = dampening factor=.85 .

    this is the accurate one .

    First I advice you to register on Google Analytics service. It will help you to see on what search results most of users comes to your site. Then you should buy links and name them as these results named. There are special sites which are trading links.

    If you want PR5 then no need to get 3 PR6 backlinks. Get a PR6 backlink & you will definitely get PR5.. You can Purchase it on DP...:)

    @ t2000q that PR (PR 6) may be fake or google has not updated PR..
