both are blackhat techniques. with doorway pages people target a keyword and build a page full of those keywords. these pages are not linked from the main website. these are hoped to rank higher because of high keyword density. cloacking is the process when a page detects that a search engine bot or an actual human is visiting the website. if a bot is detected page serves a content other then what human sees. these extra content is intended to offer high kw density etc to rank page higher.
Doorway pages are pages which were created for spamming the index of a search engine by inserting results for particular phrases with the purpose of sending visitors to a different page
Doorway pages are those pages which are intentionally meant for SERP ranking only. They include keyword rich content, more textual matter and every aspect that can help in SERP ranking. It is not at all spamming. Just a way of giving all preference to search engine rather than visitors. Clocking is what leads a doorway pages to spam. It a technique used to directing users to another page through htaccess or meta redirect. It means, search engine will cache a different page than that of user.
