what is the disadvantage in windows 7?

The difference between both is of their RAM, due to this feature window 7 is slow, but I see it practically that most of the new software does not implement of window 7, they require vista OS to run. that's why now I am using only vista.

 

I cannot see any disadvantage of Windows 7 when comparing it to XP or Vista.
As a matter of a fact, I have Win7 running smoother on some older machines than XP did.

 

That's annoying. Besides, hardware requirements are high for Windows 7.

 

i use W7 for 4 months, previosly i used Vista. W7 looks really pretty, it uses RAM more efficiently than Vista, programs which don't work in Vista here work without any problem. The only disadvantage is a high price.

 

i think in comparison to windows vista windows 7 is having no dis advantages some disadvantages are there i m getting some problem with address problem with ms office and some index it is not solved my the MS also.problem with windows explorer.

 

Main disadvantages include but not limited to:

1. User Account Control

2. New GUI

3. System gets hang after installation

4. Have specific theme. if user wish to have a specific theme of his country, he will not get that, hence not satisfied the feature

 

disadvantages of 7 is that all the tweaks are not out of it. they will be fixing errors & bugs for awhile before it is going to run smoothly

 

I think its just trying to get used to it.

 

My only gripe with W7 is file sharing which is done via 'homegroup'. Find it a pain to setup and use compared to XP.
Having said that, all other aspects of W7 outweigh the one thing I don't like. It's a very good OS IMO.

 

7 is not easily upgraded from XP, it's the same process as XP to Vista

the windows xp is better than windows 7 because xp is roughly do the work and the disadvantage of windows 7 is JavaScript error on page and its simply not works much

 

Windows 7 has a high requirement of CPU. And it dose not have good compatibilty.

 

Yeah may be. me too looking for one clarification in windows 7, is it possible to hide the software which we installed in the system? for example : tracking software if we installed.

 

window 7 is good , at present , we still can work on w7,but the effectiveness and speed are so slow that we can not achieve it one time .in addition , when working it can keep from working because of urgency!

 

the reason is very smiple that is window xp is more popular than window7. because it shows the hi-tech and human wisdom. although window 7 is not bad as people think,it is too old and out of date .therefore .men believe that its function is poor and it influnce the work effect and speed!

I think some of the features are removed and Aero is not available in short its a basic OS. I suggest that you get Win 7 Ultimate.

 

there are so many disadvantages, l just mention following : it is slow , maybe it is not real , because someone has been cheated by goods . it is also unstable , we want to make it , we have to check it and give a quick and firm response at once!

 

I personally still continue using Windows Xp, but all of my friends have upgraded to Windows 7 and say its the best thing since sliced bread so.. I may change also, if it actually good.

 

The disadvantages would depend on your domain of usage. A gamer might face a different issue than a designer or a programmer.
If you generalize it Generally Windows 7 is very very good. The main disadvantage is that people are still drunk on XP and refuses to move on. But Microsoft have no one else but themselves to blame for that.
