what is the different between php proxy and cgi proxy

    so many host not accept cgi proxy but they accept php proxy, and lot of user looking for hosting that accept cgi proxy than php proxy, actually what the different between those two script

    someone can explain?

    There are lots of differences, one big one is a "CGI" proxy isn't written in "PHP"

    I've heard that CGI proxy hogs CPU usage, but uses less bandwidth and that PHPproxy uses less CPU and more bandwidth. I have no data to back this up however, just what I've heard :) Why not do some benchmarks and tell us? :p

    i dont have any freehosting that accept cgi proxy :)
