What is the differences between blog and website?

What is the differences between blog and website? what make them difference for each others?

 

I wouldn't say they are different. A website is a general term where a blog falls in.

Now, a blog is a website that propose a dialog between visitors and its administrators (writers) and each others.

 

A blog is kind of like a journal, where as a website is more information/content.

 

Not really. There are also informative blogs.

 

Many popular blog platforms (Wordpress) can also be used for content management (general websites).

 

Blog is a short term for Web Log, that means it's a log in the web something you write and leave for others to read a website is different it has this definition and it has the definition of a place where you can put all sort of content and it has the definition of your store or your page online

 

Blog is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video.

 

The basic difference between a blog and a website is that on a website your main page remains static and other pages contain mostly static information. While on blogs — at least on majority of blogs — you can leave comments and interact with bloggers and other visitors.

 

but you can use blogs also as a normal website.
