What is the difference in these commands?

    I want to know how many pages of my site have been indexed in google and when I write

    Site:www.linksbucket.com - It shows only 24 pages

    But when I write this

    Site:linksbucket.com - It shows 37 pages

    What is the difference between these commands, which one gives the exact number of indexed pages? any idea?

    There might be problem with the redirection of other pages.
    All pages should open with www, do 301 permanent redirection.
    Problem will get solved.

    Make sure that in internal links to link to www. versions of the pages.

    In webmaster tools, click on sitemaps, here how many pages are indexed?

    Sitemap statistics:
    Total URLs:
    Indexed URLs:
