what is the difference betwen third and second party merchant account

    Hi,

    I am new in that business and I am wondering what is the difference betwen third and second party merchant account. Could you explain me please, also advatanges of any.

    Advantages may vary from provider/processor to processor

    Third Party is the one who is OTHER than the buyer and seller. PayPal is a third party payment processor

    Second Party one of buyer or seller. Like transactions made directly to seller throught buyer (Like cash, check etc.) are second party accounts
