    XML sitemaps are basically for Search Engines where as HTML sitemaps are for visualizing the website structure which is useful for visitors and search engines. Search engines prefer that all the pages within your website must be linked together, so if you have any pages that is not linked within any of the pages on your website then HTML sitemap is the place to visualize overall structure of your website for website users and search engines.
