    Hello Guys,

Time to come to think about this damn thing. I was thinking that in todays market there are a lot of people with the profile of Flash Designer and they say that they are superior than the web designer.

So the thing is, A flash designer can also design a website in Flash so isn't he Web designer also. And a web designer can also make a flash for header etc. or a web designer can make a design that can build in Flash.

So it's been a tough thing now to describe these two terms. What is Flash Designer and what is web designer.

I think the it should be Flash Animator, Flash 2d Animator, Flash Developer etc.

Would love to know your opinion guys.

    Thanks & regards,
    M Amir

Flash designers focus on Flash (Flash applications can be used offline, although they are primarily used on the web).

Web designers design web pages. This may or may not include Flash, but also includes HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.

Well if talk in technical terms there is not difference as both of them are designing websites it does not matter whatever technologies they are using.I think web designer is more generic and correct term.
