hai, I try to find some information about what are the real difference between localized and general Google search engine. And quite hard to find any facts. For example : what are the different between google.com(worldwide) and google.com.au(australia) ? Beside, the language are different, what are the other features differentiates this both general and localized google search engines ?
when a user from Australia goes to google, he actually goes to google.com.au instead of .com...this happens with most countries UNLESS you actually specify this in your config....... it is very important to target the right audience for your site....
townguyz, Essential difference between google international and google local is where does come from inbound links toward your web site.
The result from both are nearly same, only there were some local site built in that area will be listed on first page. remaining thing will be same..
Yes chances of seeing more of local websites are better in local search which most likely wont appear in google dot com search results.
it's just simple dear localized mean particular territory like Google.co.uk general Google search engine mean global search as Google.com
the localized Google will index that country site fast so it will give the preference for the site from that country. which is very important. Its like Google is the mother and google.com.au is child.
