What is the difference between Keyword and Page Title?

    So lets say I title a page on my site "Obama plans to create more jobs in 2012"

    Now, that same statement will show at the top of your web browser, kind of like it currently says "What is the difference between Keyword and Page Title?" when you look at the top of your browser right now.

    With that being said, if I was to use a keyword would it make any difference? I heard that since so many people were abusing it by putting in false keywords that search engines were starting to ignore them more.

    Would there be any benefit to me adding keywords, and if so what do you recommend I use as keyword if the page title was something like "Obama plans to create more jobs in 2012"

    Also do you use keywords for several different pages on your site, or just on your home/main page?

    thanks

    keyword is a part of word which comes in the title of the content, which makes the title of the page with keyword is 100% accuracy. For eg:
    if your title is "Obama plans to create more jobs in 2012" you can take keywords like obama plans in 2012, 2012 obama job plans, etc. These keywords will give you good on page result and will work as more than 90% accuracy of the keyword in respect to the title of the content. Hope it helps you.

    Thanks for the reply, is this the correct way to add keywords?

    <meta name="keywords" content="obama plans in 2012, 2012 obama job plans, obama job">

    Also do you suggest I add anything else like the <meta name="description" tags?

    Title tags are extremely important towards your goal of achieving high search engine rankings.Meta description tags, on the other hand, don't actually appear to affect your rankings in the search engines
