What is the difference between HTML 4 and HTML5?

    I didn't get a chance to try HTML5, I would like to know what is the difference between HTML4 and HTML5?

    What do you mean you didn't get a chance to try it? It's still being developed.

    There are tons of differences between the two though. One of the most popular ones at the moment is HTML 5's support for video which is planned (and hopefully will) replace Flash. You'd get much better results for this type of question by simply asking Google.

    the current development of HTML5 has tons of promising features; canvas, geolocation, offline apps, etc. try google "html5 showcase" and you'll find a lot of good examples
