What is the difference between frames and iframes

    What is the difference between frames and iframes, if i will use iframes instead of frame then what will be the advantage and disadvantage for a site

    an iframe is also aframe, but just a special type of a frame. An iframe stands for "included frame." This means that you could have an iframe included in the middle of your webpage. A regular frame cannot be included in the middle of the frame, but must always be either a header/footer or on the side of the webpage.
