The CPC is just a variable within the the PPC advertising model. Within any PPC platform, such as Google Adwords, the CPC is the maximum amount of money you are willing to pay for each click on your ads. Some of those clicks might turn into conversions, and if your conversion is a sale then you are making money from the end user (providing that your overall ROI is positive).

Pay per click is just the term used to market something using search engines or websites that place your ad and you pay every time someone clicks on your ad.
Cost per click is the actual amount you are getting charged when someone clicks on your link.

PPC (Pay Per Click) is an internet advertising model for search engine.. usually when you go to google and search for specific phrases you will see PPC ADS in the right hand corner of your browser , while CPC (Cost Per Click )is when an action take place into PPC ADS and it is the amount of money an advertiser or publisher pays for a single click that brings one visitor to its website..

Cost per click, which usually goes by the acronym of CPC, has two different meanings. For a search engine, the term cost per click means how much the search engine charges advertisers each time a visitor clicks on a sponsored link.
PPC is a type of sponsored online advertising that is used on a wide range of websites, including search engines, where the advertiser only pays if a web user clicks on their ad.
