Alive - leading you life as a very normal person , like (eating , sleeping , working ) everything self. but True living - helping others , teaching others , helping other people to come up in their life.
well, i think that is fairly easy, being alive would just you being born to this world. that is the easy part of life i think as you do not need to do anything, but when it comes to truly living then that is the hard part. if you want to live truly then you should make your life fruitful. i think that is the thing there right, a life with meaning.. if there is no meaning then, life is useless. hahaha
True living is spiritual level, to live with soul. Alive is material level, just alive, with no soul, like an animal.

Being alive is just equal to vegetate whereas leading a true living means being physically and mentally active... As a human, the latter one shall be preferred.
Alive = Sitting in front of a computer screen all day making websites and checking your adsense earnings every 10 minutes. Truly Alive = Getting off your butt and going out the front door in the sunshine. LOL
