what is the difference b/w do and no-follow links

    Hi guys,

    If any one tell me what is difference between No follow and Do follow links. Can any one tell me the difference.

    Similiar to e-mail spam, blog spamming is a one of the serious problems faced by blogger.

    To protect blogger from spamming activities, blogger can use a "nofollow" link tag.

    "Nofollow" is to provide bloggers with the chance to add a link to their website without leaking PageRank to the spammer site.

    Dofollow in this context does the opposite.

    no follow tag on page prevents the distribution of link juice.

    It's simple as this, dofollow pass PR juice but nofollow doesn't.

    Ya nofollow means it won't pass the PR. Google introduce this tag to help blogger avoid comment spamming. But now I believe the reason why most blogger use nofollow tag is to prevent PR leak. You can quickly raise your PR with nofollow compare to dofollow.

    PR leak - so you mean to say if your pr is 4 and to give links to 400 sites with do follow tag - ur PR will be Minus 396 !

    NoFollow = User doesn't get PR for the backlink

    If you give away normal links without nofollow, it won't affect your PR at all.
