    Hi all,
Just a quick quesion, what are the differences (if any!) between CJ and Azoogle

Spending time in both these forums leads me to think that Azoogle tends to generate more income, but is that because of a difference in the company or just because it is more popular than CJ?

Just out of interest and all!

    Sam

They feature different offers. Azoogle has more free lead or signup based offers, while CJ offers more sale based offers (like a sale of a particular product). They both work well - personally I've had more success with Azoogle, but which network works better for you depends on your particular niches and traffic.

Azoogle is more geared toward PPC/email traffic and CJ is more geared towards content sites/natural traffic. People generate far more revenue with PPC than they do with natural traffic. That's why you see so many threads by single people who generated a ton of money with Azoogle.

CJ, however, is the biggest affiliate network out there...So based on total volume (not individual volume), I'm sure CJ generates more revenue than any other affiliate network. I could be wrong, but that's my guess :)

    Have I confused you yet?

nope, if anything you have cleared it up for me!

i have struggled with CJ tbh

when you say PPC traffic, do you mean setting up a PPC campaign using your affiliate links? or having a site, starting a PPC campaign for that site, then optimising for azoogle?

i have submitted my application, we will see how it goes!

and that works well, from what ive seen

i suppose there is a typical daily outlay to be expected, but from what I can gather, with some quality returns!

out of interest, how do you submit your application to azoogle, if you dont have a website to provide traffic stats etc for?

You don't have to have a website to get accepted, it just helps to have one...When they review their applications, they're checking 2 things:

    1) You are who you say you are
    2) You're not a moron (in other words, you know how to build a website and/or you understand what affiliate marketing is)

This is where a large proportion of DP members (at least the ones who have been posting in this section lately) seem to run into problems

Ha! So be very pleasant, be very honest, run a tight ship and be professional?!

Think I can manage with that one - I hope!

What are some of the main reasons for rejection?

(this is going a touch off topic I think, sorry!)

Yep, I suppose they do count as reasons! apologies for that!

I supppose I kind of meant what reasons do they give for rejection? I know the ebay affilliate scheme rejected me, but I havn't got a clue why! Mainly because they didn't say!

Why don't you try applying for Azoogle, and, if on the off chance you get rejected, ask them why you didn't get an account?

Personally, I think a publisher should have more than one or two advertising network and used all of them to sell advertising spot. It doest matter to me which one is better, I just want to know that they all are good and they pay well.

I join about 10 or 15 ad network. Whenever I write a post I will visit each one and see which will have a ad that is related to my post...

If I published a post about how to register a domain name, I can find register. com ad at linkshare, If I published a post about how to copyright a business name, I can find a ad at CJ for legal zoom.

If Published a post relating to Obama, I can find a ad at Azoogle to drop in that post.

If there is no ads relating to my post. I will published without any ads....

At the same time, I would have Google Adsense working, Adbrite, Dubble click or any of the other Alternative Ads Network on my list below.

If there is no ads relating to my post. I will published without any ads....
