Are we still at 65% or have we gone higher?

65% of the USA is also the last figure I heard.
    Europe rose to 50%

Love is becoming a myth. Thank you capitalism.

    Think about the good side.

There's always "new blood" in the dating scene.

There is nothing good about that as it seems like the family structure is breaking up all over the world. Where is the good in that?

Marriage has always seemed odd to me...not because of stayign with one partner but because of the ceremony made out of it...

Yeah, the last I heard, it was still close to 65%
What is the world coming to? It seems like people just take the easy-way-out rather than trying to solve the conflict. That's not setting a very good example for the children, which makes me worry. Children learn from example. At the rate we're going, I'm afraid to imagine what the divorce rate will be in 20 years from now. Once it reaches 90% what's the point of getting married? The vows are basically a joke at that point. Nobody is held accountable for their vows, and that's the problem.

I've deliberately chosen for a non-western (asian) woman to avoid what is almost unavoidable today, since I want a "normal" family life and raise kids under "normal" conditions, with love.
Call me old-fashioned. I'll take it as a compliment.
