What is the criteria in appraise the domain name?

    I just want to know what is the criteria in appraisal the domain name??

    does the number of character play the important role...or what is the main factor..

    Some factors what is feel is
    1. Whether it is a dictionary word
    2. TLD (.com is high valued)
    3. Short (anything less than 8 - 10 characters)
    4. Traffic (if it is active)

    These are just few I beleive

    These are all very important.

    Perhaps you could add 'attractiveness to potential end users', too?

    For example, www.refrigeratedunit.com might not be much use to most, but to a manufacturer of such things it would be very important, and they'd be likely to pay more, especially if already partially developed.
