If I was to use Shared Hosting I would go with Host Gator. It's "cheap" yet it's quality. Support is fantastic and uptime and speed is exceptional.

 

I personally used iPage before - and I dont really recommend them. My sites were slow on their servers - customer care is close to in-existent too!

I would highly recommend HostGator though!
