If you want private registration included, can't beat Namecheap.

I also using this services. Very nice and reliable.
User can change the DNS and just wait few minutes to updated.
No need to wait after 24 hours. Strongly recommended!

Enom.com and Opticburst.net are good sources for domain names. Affordable and safe!

I recommend GoDaddy. They have coupons around for cheaper domains.

spencerp, I agree, that sucks, but see, domains have a fixed price - it's around 10$, so why would anyone sell it cheaper? They only can give you a little present as you said if you're buying for 50$ or so...

Mostly Godaddy & namecheap have some offers, and during this month, you might see some other offers.

I'm loving name.com, mainly because it is easy to register for paypal users, no auto-renewals(they send u notification), and 7.50 with coupon codes... Instant setup of course. May not be cheapest, but consistent and straightforward with fees.

Try name.com... recently they launched a promo. Only 25 cents for .cn domain names. Use BARATO as promo code.

Thank you for all. I noticed the price ranges from 7 - 10 $. you cannot get a .com domain for less than 7$.
