    The busiest Facebook time is on Sundays between 3PM - 7PM. No matter what time zone you are in. It's a time range wherein everybody is resting in the house to do some online social networking.

    younger people - 9PM to 12 MN
    9-5 workers - 7PM to 8PM
    high school kids - 6PM to 9PM

    I just found a study that answers the original question. I can not yet post a link but I can send it by PM to those interested.

    "Weekdays are busiest, Wednesday especially"

    and

    "Usages spikes occur pretty reliably on weekdays at 11:00 AM, 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM"

    I am interested in finding the best time to post on Facebook (and other social networks) and the response seems fairly good. Although the results are from 2010...

    Best time to post is 11am (Prevailing East Coast Time)--it's before lunch in NYC, and it's the start of the business day in LA. You cover all US zones. 4pm is another good time, using the same logic.

    Sorry but I disagree.

    This is not "always the busiest time." If there are 100 people in one place, once a person reaches this place at a certain point, it makes it the busiest time.

    See what I mean? Anyway, with the whole answers I think we can have a good idea over the first question.

    Facebook is the worldwide social network. Everyone likes to log in and visit different pages on FB like friend’s news or other world news. Also we use FB to send messages to different people or friends and inform them about something important or less important. It depends. But, I can agree with many users that FB is the busiest at the afternoon time. Also, many people log in FB on week-ends when they are free. And it does not depend on time zone.

    There is also another thing : the busiest time depends on the location. For examples, for East Coast North American, it will be from 7PM to 10PM, which corresponds to the middle of the night in Europe and the morning in Asia.
    So the Facebook is always busy, just post during the evening of your time zone.
