It's just like the rest of the web. For U.S. visitors 5-8pm M-F (EST, CT, and PST), and Sunday till about 6 p.m. Business sites see traffic during regular business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
I would say it depends on what or where you are generating FB traffic. Your target audience. Facebook stays busy constantly 24 hours a day, even in a strictly US/UK targeted medium. If you have a way of tracking it, such as an app, ad, etc... that's the best way. I track all sorts of metrics on my ads and apps. It really helps in targeting traffic.
Mostly on office hours 5-8 p.m local time of every country... While wrking all used to visit FB very often, as I do
It's gotta be a weird spread. You have a huge number of people that use it constantly at work. You have kids using it when they get home from school into the evening. And adults using it after dinner/work. I would be afternoons during (pick your time zone) are heaviest usage times.
Depends on who your targeting really. Younger people. 9-5 workers. high school kids. really any time is a good time on facebook.
Yeah true! But busier on weekends... not sure of the time though.... but think it's whole day - depends..
If we are talking about US, then the best timings when Facebook activity is at its peak are 7am-9am, 5pm-7pm and 11pm-1am.
To my mind, the busiest period depends on the age. It must be 4 pm to 8 pm for almost everyone, maybe 5pm to 9pm for workers.
I don't see the point of going to Facebook when I know there won't be anybody on the chat. The busiest time is probably sunday evening around 7PM...
