Allow your domain to expire. That would be the single biggest possible blunder, period, hands down.

I think he was talking about what type of things on a website turn away users... if he was heres my list:

    1. sound when a webpage opens
    2. graphics or text that overlap one-another due to bad table or css structure
    3. obvious misspellings/grammatical errors - so unprofessional
    4. no continuity in layout or colors or font

Well, in that case, in no particular order:

    1. using an image of text instead of text for content.
    2. Flash-only sites, with no fallback for visitors or SEs.
    3. Use of frames, except under extraordinary circumstances (strict applications served via http, not meant for general consumption, that sort of thing).
    4. Practically any black hat SEO technique.
    5. Oooh! I know! Giving away personal information of visitors! That has to be the top blunder :)

There's a whole lot more, but there are only so many minutes in the day.

I hate music playing over and over and OVER again. . . . turn it off. Oh man. That stuff is bad.

Oh and the stupid "you can left-mouse click this image". Sometimes I accidently set it off on these sites and get pissed. Sheesh no one wants to steal your stupid image.

    1. Pop-ups have to be the all time pet peeve, but a lot of toolbars and browsers have done a good job taking care of these (although occassionaly, some still get through.

    2. Google Adsense that is made to look like the first resulting links found when doing a local search on a website.

    Ah yeah..."can you handle this":;)

*) Using one of the very famous default FrontPage themes with a huge web counter saying 00002:rolleyes:
*) "java script error" that creates a popup every time you hoover over the links to change the page
*) Having an error message on the main page showing the Admin userid/password like:".../...
    "Select * from Users where user="Administrator" password="MyWifesName"
    ../..."
*) Having unloaded by error a bunch of porn images with similar names than the default images.
*)Forgetting de build a main/home page on your site...Error 404:cool:

Spelling mistakes make your site look and read like it was built by a noob. Use spell check before you publish a page. Even if you can spell you might now be able to type. :D
