I've been looking at several, seems they can be tricky to set up. I prefer free source. I'm looking for something that updates content one time daily from selected wordpress blogger niche sites. Anyone have anymore insight on autoblogs?
wp-o-matic is the best? I haven't read the best of things about that one. It appears feedwordpress is confusing. Is rss2feed free? Any other recommendations?
search the dp forum. i think there is a free wordpress autoblog here called rss2blog. don't know but i remembered i have downloaded one here.
Hi, I think rss2blog are now charging a ridiculous fee. I think (so far from the research that I have performed) FeedWordPress is the best free plugin. There is also an addon plugin to filter content. I was worried that there could be legal issues in the United States about feeding off RSS (Syndication), however, I'm finding as long as any blog author fails to write in a disclaimer, next to their RSS feeds, stating that the feed is only for personal and non-commercial use, then the feed is fair game (as long as author's link is provided). The main purpose that I want to make an auto blog is to incorporate useful information in the niche, without the need to use search engines to dig, when they can have a one stop spot to gather all the best info they could hope for, without digging through 100's of content, thus saving readers time and hassle. If the reader likes the article that I feed, then chances are the reader will subscribe to that author. At the same time, building link backs for the author. This idea came to me when I found a huge corporate site feeding off my blog. It brought me over 1400 extra visitors and started getting backs from message forums all around the world wide web. My search rankings went through the roof. I'm very grateful to have official, corporate, sites feeding off my site!
That may be true if you are reprinting/reposting only an excerpt of the original blog post. However, if you repost the entire blog post without permission, you are very likely violating the authors copyright in the post.
