What is the best website building software for building mini-sites to promote ClickBank products? I am thinking of buying a good software to build mini review sites and landing pages to venture into more niches. Anyone using any good mini-website building software now? Care to recommend? Thanks.

    There are many ways.

To be honest, i really like to use Wordpress and make a "review style" page with articles, some are even autoblogging.

For a simple "sales page" you can even use a site builder like XSite Pro.

Even simpler, i myself have a product http://www.affiliatesitequick.com which is basically an advanced "cloner" for vendor pages, especially clickbank. It makes a "clone" of the vendor product page on your URL - this for cases where you dont want/need a landing page, eg. for Adwords.

Otherwise review pages all the way. SOME (not many) products on CB even have very good affiliate material like downloadable landing pages which you can use.

How much is xsite pro? I heard before but I do not really know if it is that good...

I am looking for website builder where I can simply drop and paste the layout as I do not want complicated tools. I recently saw the 90second website builder by Matt Bacak...is it good?

You gave me really good ideas for creating mini sites...getting free downloadable landing pages from clickbank vendors is really a wonderful option! But which are the products that really give such good support? I still have not encounter any yet... :)

Thanks again for your feedback! :)

Xsite Pro is a good piece of software and easy to use once you have got used to it.

I'm using wordpress at the moment now however to make sites.

XSP is "ok", especially for simple squeeze pages and especially for CPA products.

But..the best selling and really good products on clickbank (NOT MANY, but a few!) have really good downloadable landing pages. You can recognize a good product if the vendor supports his affiliates actively with good affiliate material. A good vendor KNOWS that he is *nothing* without his affiliates - and the more material they provide, the easier it is for us to sell!

But..as said..if i have a niche where i KNOW that i have a high chance to rank i rather spend a little time making a Wordpress site. In fact, aside from article marketing my MAIN $$$ comes from highly ranked sites in Google - organic traffic, very nice looking review sites with articles, banners etc..etc.. no cr*p sites.

I use Wordpress and Xsite Pro. In fact I am still on v1 of Xsite Pro.

Wordpress is fantastic but I wish there was a computer version that then spat out static html files. Managing more than 20 blogs can become a nightmare.

    rolf,

i am setting up a WP blog in the same time, no, probably less than what it would take me with XSP.

XSP is just very limited and you soon "grow out" and want more...and in terms of SEO WP will probably always rank better than XSP, in my opinion.

Georg, I agree that WP is the best for SEO. Google loves my sites from Day 1.

But database driven, server side scripts also have their downsides, especially the bigger they get or the more of them you have.

You mean how to actually create the site? I would say using Dreamweaver would be the best, you can get a free trial from Adobe's website

If you use WP, the BEST theme is Thesis Theme. It's phenomenal. Check out their site. There are great videos. Extremely simple to use, and VERY customizable. It costs, though. I think it's about 160 for unlimited installs, but if you are SEO'ing a lot, it is WELL worth the money.

There are so many themes - i think it would have a problem saying right away what "the best" theme is. Some themes i still need to optimize for SEO. You wouldnt not believe how many available themes do STUPID things like keeping the BLOG NAME in <H1> tags throughout the blog (instead of the titles of the entries). Stuff like that.

I actually DO like artisteer and some of my "nicest" sites i actually made my own custom theme with artisteer.

That's the thing, Thesis has clean, clean code, and doesn't leave a single thing out. You don't even need to go into the code to edit anything. It has an awesome dashboard where you can tweak everything.

There is no best. WordPress works well and there are available plugins to make things easier.

Does WP take care of SEO if you don't know what you are doing ?

WP has good SEO out of the box. Many people rave about the "All-in-one-SEO" plugin but my experience tells me its not necessary.

You should change the permalink structure though before you start posting.
