    Hi all,

Just wondering what you think the best web site builder software is... I have used Homestead and Site Rubix but I would be interested in trying something new if there is anything better.

    Thanks

I think Wordpress is the best if you always update your site. It has a lot of plugin and template, Very good structure for manage web page (add or delete page just in minute it automatic restructure you Navigation link pages). If compare=> Wordpress Vs Dreamweaver = Firefox Vs IE :):):):)

my favorite is wordpress as you have many themes, changing the look and feels is easy, many of wordpress themes are now SEO optimised with the correct header tags, and new functionality is only a plugin away...

I recommend Wordpress. I use Wordpress for many of my sites and I find that it is easy to install/setup in just a few minutes. You also have the option of choosing a theme from their theme list to get you started here:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/

You can also add to your websites functionality with various plugins available here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

If you do not like any of the themes/templates on the site, you can always find free ones if you do a search online or you can purchase some.

Themes are easily customisable with Wordpress and you can edit them as much as you like :)

Wow, I wonder how many of these 'experts' have formal web design training.

The best 'website builder' are your 10 fingers and a keyboard - in 20 years of the world wide web, there is and won't be a perfect website builder. HTML and CSS are easy enough to learn, and with a really small learning curve, you can do literally almost anything you can visualize.

check out w3schools.com for the best tutorials to learn HTML and CSS.

Dreamweaver is okay for hand-coding, Microsoft Expression Web is utter trash but you have to write websites through code, not WYSIWYG tools.

I still write HTML, CSS, PHP why hand and upload with FTP, and I also use Wordpress - which is a great online Content Management system I highly recommend to people who want a strong website, whether they know HTML or not.

If you want a great looking website, go get yourself Wordpress.....
