I would like to find out what is the best Web hosting company to use for two things. 1 - A website with a forum on it ? 2 - A standalone forum ? Also, I would like to find out some of the better/more reliable sure fire way in which to advertise. Thanks Craig
Hostgator, godaddy .... But it would be better to go for a dedicated server (if you have the required money with you) where the server down problem is rare. Of course, there will be some problem somewhere always!
I recomand and use Hostingzoom And in hosting theres no such thing as the best only good companys and bad and very bad
godaddy is the worst there are some good ones out there best place to find one is going to webhostingtalk
To have a Forum on shared servers, look for web-hosting's CGI limits, many web-hosting companies do not show those specifications.
Check out HostGator and Lunarpages. What is the topic of your forum? How many members are you excepting?
Hi, Like its mentioned by many people above there's no best. It all depend on the conditions and your requirement. So make sure the host you select is doing good in your area, this is the basic mantra and then evaluate the factors such as pricing, features, market reviews, techology used and the most important downtime. Thank you.
hostgator & Name is good, but please please don't ever purchase limedomain hosting totally waste of money. limedomain service is really disgusting.
I believe you should check on the disk space allocation, bandwidth, security features, traffic flow, e-mail storage capacity, and the kind of multiple domain accounts.
It's impossible to say which provider is the best. Perhaps you can offer some more information about what type of site you have? You have to do your homework and research the various providers. One idea is to consider what type of site you are building, think of what existing sites are similar to what you have and find out where they are hosting.
