What is the best web host and why

I am seeking a very good webhosting co with reseller account. I need top notch support, (preferably phone support) easy cpanel access easy account setup and very inexpensive with lots of bandwith.

You will need to define your requirements better to determine which hosts would fit your needs the best.

 

I use HostingFest. Their Linux package is great but it is only available to existing clients. That's the reason why I have a spare 500MB space since to be able to become a client, you have to buy one first. And that's the catch... you have to buy windows hosting first.

Nevertheless, the support is great and the package is real good!

 

eleven2.com has better reseller plans than hostgator. excellent support. you don't get auto-responders or blank emails. they handle their support tickets manually.

for any host to be the best web host, they first have to have the best customer support.

 

I agree with that. Having a good customer support makes the company a contender for a 'Best Web Host'.

 

Well, I'm very pleased with my choice for both sites I have, ICDSoft.

Very good, fast support (reply by a human within 10 minutes), I would say a lot of features, stable (no downtimes in an year). They have reseller accounts, affiliate system.

They have servers in USA ( Savvis datacenter ) and Hong Kong ( I-Advantage datacenter ), you can choose for each account where to be.

The only "bad" thing would be that you have to pay in advance for one year, but you do get 1 domain for 5$ and up to 20% off if you have multiple accounts with them (i think it includes referrals)

ipowerweb is definitely a NO!!!! stay away from them.

last time i checked, powweb has a per day bandwidth limit, that's a no no too.

 

dreamhost is the best. best value and nice people overall

 

The thing I would definitely like to have is quick e-mail response because I am in Croatia, so it would be good not to spend too much on phone support... OK, iPowerWeb is out...

I'm in US and I agree about email as long as it is quick response time.

I am seeking a reseller account with at least 10GB of space so that I can host all of my domains.

I am hoping for at least 100 gb bandwith

must be feature rich and have fantastico.
If they offer a built in billing system then that is a bonus as well.

I need to be able to brand my own DNS

Is it possible to get a reseller account that offers individual IP's for each domain?

I use gate.com I used to have hostsave.com into gate bought them.

 

How much should one expect to pay for a reseller hoster? I'm asking just for a general price range to know when someone is offering an unreasonably low price.
