I have been using twitter and myspace and facebook, but I don't know if I am using them the best way possible. What is everyone else doing to get traffic and links from those places.
I think facebook, twitter, digg, stumbleupon is best of social media ... It's more effective and easy to increase traffic... Thanks...
Integrate tumblr, facebook, twitter and orkut and with a single post you can promote your product in all four of them.
Do regular updates about your site's features in those networking sites and make sure you have certain amount of friends and followers in those sites.
make friends interested in related niche, post regularly, dont spam. make a group of people, and vote for each other. thats all pretty much.
The best way to use social networks is to make lots of money with them Just kidding Really though, we've had the best luck using these site's APIs in the form of applications that generate passive income, both Facebook and Twitter. Also Facebook PPC ads kick ass if you know what you're doing.
Making sure the traffic you are adding or user that you are adding have an interest in your product this leads to a higher conversation rate
of course it is just like any other traffic source once you are very interactive your traffic will convert
Im just very new at this and have no idea how to set up a business page in facebook or properly twitter to gain followers.
Get lots of friends, make sure you join groups/events that target your audience, and if you want to advertise make sure you get as specific as possible!
I have over 5000 friends at Facebook and use this to my advantage when I want to promote a new product or service and it really helps
I used to have a script for Mixi (Japan's #1 SNS) which would randomly and over time, visit 100,000's of user profile pages from my clients' account. This would leave a footprint which most users would then click to come visit the client's page and usually become friends or click links, etc... It was an awesome script, in AppleScript to run on the Mac unattended 24/7. The first version didn't use random interval times and I soon got warnings from the admins, but with the time adjustments, it was pretty killer til I got a fulltime job and lost interest... Things have likely changed a bit with their system, but the same is probably possible...
