Hi! Can you please check the blog in my signature and tell me your ideas for improving it? Is this the good way to work with Amazon? Do you tell your readers that you are sending them to Amazon with your links? Should I put in my header a note that I'm Amazon associate? And what else? I also use Adsense but that is different story... So, what do you think? Thanks!
The blog looks very well put together. I don't know if i would have so many adsense ads on it though. You might want to think about having just one ad unit per post and remove the sidebar adblock. If you're main monetization model is amazon you want to really push those links more. Example: Asus eee pc Estimated Avg. CPC is only $0.05 in adsense but, a purchase from amazon at just 4% would yield you around $14-$19 per purchase. I'm not sure if you are using any autoblogging software but you could also provide an answer to a problem that the laptop could solve for someone. It could be time consuming doing it manually but it helps to push them in the "buying mode" not just the usual product description and technical details. I don't see any internal links to other pages on your site either. All the links are outgoing to amazon only, try to ad a few or use a related posts plugin. Just my opinion, hope it helps
Blogger + Amazon is the easiest and best way I think but sadly it's very risky these days because they simply delete blogs without even bothering to check.
in addition to what merlin77 says, if you are using some automation for the amazon products and would like to keep it automated, i can recommend using the WP Robot plugin. This plugin gets contents from several different sources like clickbank products, an article directory, rss feeds, yahoo news, yahoo answers, flickr etc. it is way much better to "colorise" your site content...basically, mixup your content with some other stuff, not just amazon products. This will make your blog look more real to your visitors. I would consider also posting some unique content once a week, keywords rich and relevant unique niche articles is always good thing. another tip i would mention, instead of posting so many amazon products, maybe narrow the number of amazon products posts, but create a separate page where you place "amazon store" widget that displays products from categories you choose or related to the niche you are targeting. last thing, i would use Prosperent instead of adsense, it is way much better than adsense and converts very well for automatic blogs. Prosperent ads can still use adsense, basically at prosperent you can enter adsense code to be displayed if a visitor is not comming through search engines and still grand you adsense credit. Prosperent system works very cool, if a visitor comes trough a search, the prosperent ad slots will display products related to the search keyword...a must check thing i guess
I used autoposter, but I recently make my own original content. And i must try the store widget once. Thanks for the tips!
Good job, nice looking and clean site. But it looks like you need to decide what your focus is Amazon or Adsense. If its Amazon then I would limit or even get ride of the Adsense ads, its just leading them away from your affiliate link. I would definitely get rid of the ads above each post. As far as mentioning Amazon, you already do a good job, but I would put a financial disclaimer in your footer along the lines of: "Financial Disclaimer: At "____" we make money when you click on the advertising on this site. We also make money on some of the products we review and endorse."
